Platform Development 2 builds on foundational programming skills, guiding students through the core features of Unity to create interactive and visually engaging games. Step by step, students will explore key Unity systems, including the Editor, Physics, User Interfaces, AI, and more, while using C# scripting to develop responsive gameplay mechanics.

 

Beyond technical implementation, the course also delves into best practices for 3D game development, analyzing common do’s and don’ts to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality results. By the end of the course, students will be able to translate a game concept into a fully functional demo (vertical slice), running across multiple platforms.

 

Assignments: Recreate an existing game in 3D

 

Tools: Unity, Microsoft Visual Studio.
