Our first-year Game Graphics, VFX and Animation students have been developing their subdivision modeling techniques in Blender this year. Take a closer look of some of the best results that were fully modeled, textured and rendered in Blender.
The goal of the assignment was to create:
- a vintage vehicle such as cars/race cars, trucks, motorcycles/mopeds or coaches/buses,
- a heavily modified vehicle, which can be concepts derived from a still recognizable vehicle
- or a fantasy vehicle based on a concept art or scale models.
Once modeled, they needed to make realistic PBR materials and render it in a studio light setup.
