DAE Research created a serious game as training tool for AZ-Groeninge, this is the hospital from Kortrijk. The serious game is financially supported by the European Social Fund (ESF).

The player can personalise his/her character. He/she can choose from six different job profiles: doctor, manager, nurse, care worker, kitchen staff or technical staff. In the serious game the player is given fire prevention training based on three training and six practice parts. The new knowledge is gained using info sheets. Checking the acquisition of new skills, actions and attitudes is based on multiple choice questions and 3D animations. The serious game is also linked to an LMS system where the instructor and student can consult the learning outcomes. The LMS system allows a company or organisation to train and certify its personnel in a quick and simple manner. An online playable version of the serious game can be found at http://sggo.howest.be

You can play the game here. It is made in Unity and can thus be played in your browser.
