In 3D 3 the keywords are lighting, shading and render settings.

 

The main goal of this course is teaching you how to create realistic images, though many of the techniques used in this class can be applied to more stylized work as well.

 

First we have a look at rendering theory and once we figured out how our render engine works, we 'll start focusing on the most important subject which is lighting. Portrait, studio, exterior and interior lighting,.. all of these will be covered.

 

Understanding the underlying theory of physically based rendering and how to set up your shaders accordingly, reducing your render times while maintaining your final image quality, all these are invaluable tools to learn for lighting and shader artists.

 

Technology used: Autodesk Maya, Arnold, Adobe Photoshop, Houdini ...
